SUP Adventure Sam Roi Yot - 45km south of Hua Hin

Sam Yoi Rot - translates to Three Hundred Peaks, and refers to the stunning limestone peaks that protrude from this otherwise flat coastal landscape.

We were staying in Hau Hin for the SUP races scheduled to be held each morning before the PKRA Kite Boarding Contest. Second day and no race scheduled, so we took these beautiful Starboard Flat Water Racing Boards and went exploring.

Boards used:

Starboard "The New" Carbon 12'6" Race SUP

Starboard 14" Prototype Race paddle-board

Starboard 10'3" Gun 2009 Sportech

The Stand Up Paddle Racing Boards had amazing glide and it was a real pleasure to glide through these near silent waters. The Gun is one of my favourite Surf SUP's, yet at 10'3" it still glides nicely over flat water, but can not compare to the glide of the longer race-boards.

Sam Roi Yot National Park is located 45km South of Hua Hin after Pranbury in Prjuab Kirican Province.
